Copier / MFP family

Will the Konica Minolta bizhub C251i / C301i / C361i work?

Yes. Going by Konica Minolta's own pages, it can capture today with eSCL (AirScan), a network connection, scan to email, scan to cloud and a TWAIN driver.

Konica Minolta's entry color A3 copiers; the example bizhub C361i prints 36 pages per minute, with an optional feeder scanning both sides at once.

Easiest path to one place

Scan over your network, no driver

This model speaks eSCL (AirScan), so a computer, phone or service on the same network can pull pages straight from it. Nothing to install on each desk.

How it can capture

  • eSCL / AirScan

    Yes

Driverless network scanning. Apple calls it AirScan, part of AirPrint, and Mopria Scan uses it too. Nothing to install on the computer.

Yes, for Android. It sends scans to the Mopria Scan app. Maker pages list AirPrint for printing only, so scanning to Apple devices is not stated.[3]

  • TWAIN Direct

    Check with us

The newer, driverless TWAIN. Apps reach the scanner over the network with nothing to install.

  • Network or Wi-Fi

    Yes

Connects to your network on its own, so it does not have to stay plugged into one computer.

Yes. Network cable is standard. Wi-Fi needs the optional UK-221 kit.[2][5]

  • Scan to email

    Yes

Press a button on the device and the pages arrive in an inbox.

Yes. You can scan to email, including to yourself, from the machine's panel.[4][5]

  • Scan to cloud

    Yes

The device, or the maker's own software or service, sends pages to cloud storage.

Yes, but Konica Minolta does not name the service. MarketPlace apps added on the machine, some possibly paid, scan to SharePoint, Box, OneDrive and Google Drive.[1][5][6]

  • TWAIN driver (classic)

    Yes

The long-standing way to scan. A driver installed on a computer lets scanning apps run the scanner, usually over a USB cable.

Yes. A TWAIN driver lets scanning programs on a Windows computer scan from it over the network.[2][5]

Works with: TWAIN driver: Windows 10/11; print drivers for Windows, macOS 10.14-14, Linux; Mopria (Android), AirPrint printing (iOS)
