Copier / MFP family

Will the Lexmark CX730 / CX735 color MFP family (incl. XC4342/XC4352) work?

Yes. Going by Lexmark's own pages, it can capture today with eSCL (AirScan), a network connection, scan to email and a TWAIN driver.

Lexmark's color A4 laser copier family for mid-size to large workgroups at up to 52 pages per minute; the CX735adse is the example model.

Easiest path to one place

Scan over your network, no driver

This model speaks eSCL (AirScan), so a computer, phone or service on the same network can pull pages straight from it. Nothing to install on each desk.

How it can capture

  • eSCL / AirScan

    Yes

Driverless network scanning. Apple calls it AirScan, part of AirPrint, and Mopria Scan uses it too. Nothing to install on the computer.

Yes. Apple devices are supported through AirPrint and AirScan. The machine has a setting, 'Allow scanning using eSCL protocol', that controls this.[1][2]

  • TWAIN Direct

    Check with us

The newer, driverless TWAIN. Apps reach the scanner over the network with nothing to install.

  • Scan to cloud

    Check with us

  • TWAIN driver (classic)

    Yes

The long-standing way to scan. A driver installed on a computer lets scanning apps run the scanner, usually over a USB cable.

Works with: Windows 7-11 and Server 2012-2022; Linux; Apple devices via AirPrint and AirScan only; Android via Mopria
