Easiest path to one place
Scan over your network, no driver
This model speaks eSCL (AirScan), so a computer, phone or service on the same network can pull pages straight from it. Nothing to install on each desk.
How it can capture
eSCL / AirScan
YesDriverless network scanning. Apple calls it AirScan, part of AirPrint, and Mopria Scan uses it too. Nothing to install on the computer.
Yes. Ricoh's shared guides say Macs can scan with AirPrint and Android devices with the Mopria Scan app. These are general guides, not model-specific specs.[4][5][6][8]
TWAIN Direct
Check with usThe newer, driverless TWAIN. Apps reach the scanner over the network with nothing to install.

Scan to cloud

What Ricoh's pages say
- eSCL / AirScan

The AirPrint Guide says 'you can use the print, scan, and fax functions on OS X, or macOS'; the Mopria Guide says 'You can use Mopria Scan to scan from an Android device.' These are shared guides, not model-specific spec lines.[4][5][6][8]
- Scan to cloud
- US product page says the device can 'scan directly to cloud services'; the route is not named on the IM C4510 page. Ricoh markets RICOH Smart Integration (subscription) for cloud workflows on its IM line.[1]
- TWAIN driver (classic)
- Network TWAIN scanning (Ricoh lists TWAIN scan modes Standard, Photo, OCR, Filing; up to 1,200 dpi on A5 or smaller). Not named on the US spec sheet; stated on Ricoh Australia's IM C4510 page.[3]
